Why Coaching?
Many Academy Members have gone from novice to holding handicaps and playing in social and competitive golf events in a very short time.
In Nick English, we have one of the very best teaching professionals. If you are new to golf, don’t be apprehensive, Nick will make sure you are comfortable at every step along the way. Currently we have 35 Academy men and ladies learning the game now and who were all new to golf. You will be in great company and will have lots of fun learning this great game.
So why is our Academy so successful? Firstly the quality of teaching and the range of group coaching sessions offered are first rate. Secondly, you’ll meet lots of other like-minded and friendly people. Lastly, we encourage you to play the course as much as possible so you can get out and utilise what you are learning.
Plus, our course is beautiful and once you start playing it, you’ll want to keep playing it.
Spouses / partners of members in all playing categories receive complementary social membership of Bramley Golf Club and are welcome to use the bar/restaurant at any time, as well as being able to enjoy a full calendar of social events.
Members can make full use of the 7-bay covered practice range to the rear of the clubhouse and can buy discounted range balls from the pro shop.

Our Staff
Nick English - Head AAT PGA Professional
Nick has over 20 years experience within the golf industry. Spending over 10 years as a full time coach before joining Bramley GC in 2011. He has lived locally since moving to the area from Salisbury back in 1991 so is well known amongst the local golfing community. "Bramley GC is a great place to be, for me the environment is just right, everyone mixes in and enjoys themselves, which gives Bramley that club feeling".
Martin Johnson - PGA Golf Professional - Snr Asst
Martin joined the team in January 2018 after spending 8.5 years at Liphook Golf Club. During that time he built up an excellent reputation as a coach. He is qualified in TPI and K Vest coaching and is experienced in using GC2/HMT technology when coaching in the studio. Martin is able to take on all club repairs and is a trained repair specialist for Powakaddy.
